Critter seed cards

You don't have to be a gardener to enjoy creating these whimsical critter cards. Each one is more than just a card; it's part gift as well, and would be the perfect choice to send to your favorite gardener this spring. Handmade paper is first imbued with flower or vegetable seeds, then cut into circles and adhered to the card front. The recipient plants the circle and then watches it grow into whatever plant you have chosen. A gift card that truly keeps giving!

Instructions
Follow the Seed Paper Flower Kit instructions to make seeded paper. If the kit is unavailable, fill the water bottle half full with water and add four 1" cotton liner squares. Shake the bottle vigorously until cotton squares turn to pulp. Add 1⁄2 teaspoon flower seeds to the pulp. Pour the pulp through a strainer and pour onto plastic canvas. Use the sponge to remove excess moisture, and allow to dry. Cut the dried pulp into a 3" circle. Set aside.

Tip: Use the brown ink pad to antique around all cut-out pattern edges. Use the sandpaper to distress all brads
