| Instructions |
- For each sachet, cut a 4-1⁄2" square from each of two different mulberry papers. Stack the squares and use a pencil to draw a 3-1⁄2" square centered onto the top square.
- Thread sewing machine with the metallic gold thread and machine straight stitch along the perimeter of the penciled square, attaching the stacked mulberry squares together. Tear away fibers around the perimeter of the sewn squares, removing slightly more from the top square, referring to photo as a guide.
- Cut a 2" slit into the center of the top square only and fill the sewn squares with paper sachet. Use the heart stamp and gold ink to apply the design onto mulberry paper in the same color as was used for the bottom square. Cut out the design along the perimeter and adhere onto the top square to cover and seal the slit.
- Use the antique alphabet stamp and gold ink to apply the initial of choice onto white cardstock. Cut a 1-1⁄4" square around the initial and use the sewing machine to machine stitch a metallic gold border around the square 1⁄16" in from the perimeter. Punch a 1⁄8"-dia. hole inside the stitched border at the top left corner of the square and insert a gold eyelet. Cut a 6" length of Metallic Gold pearl cotton, thread through the eyelet, and tie into a bow along the top edge of the square. Trim the ends neatly and adhere the initialed square centered onto the heart.
